You probably think there’s nothing else you can do with a used, dead light bulb, right? So into the recycling bin it goes–if you can even recycle them where you live. That’s pretty much the fate of most burnt-out light bulbs. But it doesn’t have to be. We recently came across a cool way to re-purpose old light bulbs…you can turn them into air plant terrariums!
Air plants are the perfect plants for this kind of terrarium since they only need air and a little water to survive. They can even grow and thrive without soil. They’re also the perfect plants for those not naturally blessed with a green thumb, or those who prefer low maintenance plants in their home. This is an easy, inexpensive, and fun project for any skill level, whether you’re a beginner or a pro DIY-er.
